Drawings

The exploration of line working together with areas of tonal interchange, emphasizes the stunning form of the body. Edges overlap, rough, yet structured.

Pencil is an uncomplicated, raw and versatile medium to use, whereas Ink is much bolder, more assertive. Exciting and unforgiving with the mark it makes.

My way of working is instinctive, if I stop to think about the process while painting or drawing, judgement enters and the ability to see and feel truthfully is lost. By working this way I acknowledge all that is in front of me, being both true to my subject, and myself.
